KNIGHTDALE--Funeral services for Carolyn Burrell Allen, 66, who died Thursday, July 13, 2017, will be held Wednesday, July 19, at 1 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Pastor K. G. Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: her husband, Joseph Allen of the home; daughter, Chequetta Allen of Decatur, Ga.; sons, Sean Allen of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Brandon Allen of the home; her mother, Beatrice Burrell of Louisburg; sister, Phyllis Burrell of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, William Burrell (Doretha) and Samuel Burrell (Anna), both of Raleigh; and two grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
