LOUISBURG­­--­Michael Dennis Sackett, 59, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at his home. Services were held Wednesday, July 26, at 2 p.m. at Church of the Crossroads, 4620 NC Hwy 98, Youngsville, with Pastor Jesse Parrish officiating.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1958 to Wanda Robinson Sackett and the late Robert Sackett. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Patricia and Anita.

Surviving: his wife, Aileen Sackett; son, Michael D. Sackett Jr. (Elisha); daughter, Michele Sackett; three grandchildren; stepdaughter, Erica Zierk (Wayne); and his siblings, Bobby, Judy, Bruce, Sharon and Wendy.
