LOUISBURG - Arthur Corbert "A.C." Fuller, of Louisburg, passed peacefully Friday evening.

A.C. was a son of the late Rufus Fuller and Beadie Lee Cash Fuller. A.C. was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Murray Fuller, and his former wife, Patricia Jones Fuller. He was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Wanda Mitchell Harrelson; sisters, Hazel Wheless, Ruth Mae Wilder, Zelma Denton, Catherine Hayes, Elsiephine F. Wright; brothers, Floyd David Fuller, James Hubert Fuller, Leo Edward Fuller and Ballard Fuller.

A.C. is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Marianne Mitchell-Fuller; stepsons, William Mitchell and Steven Mitchell; step-grandson, Rodney Mitchell and wife, Tiffany; the light of his life, great-grandson, Austin Mitchell, all of Louisburg; many nieces and nephews.

A.C. was a World War II Navy Veteran and a lifelong resident of the Maple Springs community.

A funeral service was held 7 p.m. Tuesday evening in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Havens officiating. The family received friends immediately following the service. Burial was 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Louisburg Nursing Center for the wonderful care given to A.C. during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 351 T. Kemp Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
