LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Lucy Mae Alston Wright, 91, who died Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. at Perry's Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Randolph Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Frances Alston (Harvey) of Louisburg, Theresa Treadwell (David) of New York, NY, Carolyn Ann Wright of Louisburg; sons, Robert L. Wright (Alice) of Dinwiddie, Va., Albert Wright of Newark, N.J., Carl Wright of Warrenton, Michael Wright of Winston-Salem; brothers, Walter Alston of Franklinton, George Alston of East Orange, N.J.; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
