WAKE FOREST--Christopher Lynn Kern, 57, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

He was born on March 3, 1960 in Lancaster, Ohio, to David and Rose Rough Kern. He was a painter and carpenter.

Surviving: his wife, Billie Young Kern; sons, Jeremy Lynn Kern and William David Kern; sisters, Penny Forsythe, Sherri Harness, and Molly Egger; one granddaughter; as well as, a number of nieces and nephews.
