YOUNGSVILLE--Funeral services for Xavier Dowdy, 10, who died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, will be held Sunday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. at Manasseh Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Samuel Tunstall officiating. Burial will follow in the Manasseh Church cemetery.

Surviving: parents, Darryl and Sandra Willis Dowdy of the home; sister, Raven Dowdy of Henderson; brothers, Avery Dowdy of the home, Darryl M. Adams of Rochester, NY; and his paternal grandmother, Eunice Dowdy of Franklinton.

Open visitation will be Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Manasseh Baptist Church in Franklinton.
