LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Edith Mae Thomas, age 74, who died on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, at 12 noon in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Phyllis Thomas of Youngsville and Jacqueline Harris (Danny) of Louisburg; her mother, Catherine Woodard; sisters, Betty Baker, Peggy Baker, Barbara Sue Woodard, Doris Woodard, all of Louisburg, Evelyn Woodard of Raleigh, Ruth Woodard-Hines of Greensboro; brothers, Eddie Woodard, Sr., John P. Woodard, Jr. and Joseph Woodard, all of Louisburg, David Woodard of Centerville, Clarence Woodard of Oxford; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Friday, Nov. 10 from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
