FRANKLINTON--Janie Marie Fortys Hudson, 63, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 pm at Franklinton Baptist Church, with the Reverend David Averette officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at the home, 2053 Flint Rock Road, Franklinton.

She was born on June 4, 1954 to the late John and Marie Providencia Fortys.

Surviving: husband, Otis Donald Hudson; daughters, Laura Olsson and Janie Marie Bower, both of Franklinton; son, Karl Olsson and Alexis of Wake Forest; stepdaughter, Charlene Hudson; brother, John Fortys; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
