WAKE FOREST - Funeral services for Louis Haywood Merritt, 87, who died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, will be held Sunday, Nov. 19, at 3 p.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Timothy Faison officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Brenda M. Vinson (James) of Knightdale; son, Gregory H. Merritt (Joyce) of Raleigh; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Saturday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
