FRANKLINTON--Gary Lynn Hight, 58, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2017 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 East Mason St., Franklinton, with the Rev. David Averette and Pastor Spencer Strickland officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. Burial in Fairview Cemetery will be private.

He was born to Gladys Mae Alford Hight and the late Raymond Ruffin Hight Sr. He was a graduate of Franklinton High School and a lifelong resident of Franklinton.

Surviving: his mother, Gladys Hight; brothers, Ray Hight, Jr. (Kathryn) and Randy Hight (Nell); one nephew and one niece.
