LOUISBURG-Funeral services for Carrie Jane Massenburg Thomas, age 85, who died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13, at South Main Street Baptist Church in Louisburg with the Rev. David Rosby officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Thomas of the home; three sons, Eugene Thomas of Springfield, MA, George Thomas of Jacksonville, FL, Jessie Thomas of the home; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, Dec. 12, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
