LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Joseph "Joe" Hicks, 60, who died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. at Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Bishop Dr. Stanley Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church cemetery.

Surviving: nine daughters, Shiquita Taylor of Raleigh, Charita, Sherita and Juanita Fogg and Latasha Hartsfield, all of Henderson, Kaneisha, Jalyia, Lakeisha and Vanessa Hartsfield, all of Louisburg; seven sons, Joseph Hicks Jr., Devante, Vernon, Tavain and Clayton Hicks, Jahiem and JaRule Hartsfield, all of Louisburg, NC; sisters, Kate Armstrong of Bailey, Dinah Williams of Louisburg and Joan Wilder of the home; brother Thomas Hicks (Romona) of Louisburg; 27 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
