NASHVILLE--Funeral services for Bernice Jones Ghist, 88, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at 12 p.m. at Castalia Missionary Baptist Church in Castalia. Burial will follow in the Jones cemetery.

She was born in Franklinton.

Surviving: daughter, Bernetta Ghist of Nashville; son, David D. Ghist II of the home; sister, Jacqueline Elaine Jones Reid (Ronald) of Knightdale; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be today, Thursday, Feb. 15, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
