LOUISBURG--Funeral services for George Allen, 93, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Allen Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Chapel Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Gladys Marie Allen of Baltimore, Md., Carolyn Briscoe (Joseph) of Raleigh, Wilma Richards of Durham, Barbara Mc-Knight (Rev. Charles) of Pinehurst, Cheryl Elliott of Durham, Marjorie Gwenette Macon of Baltimore, Md.; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Open visitation will be today, Thursday, Feb. 15, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
