LOUISBURG--Peggy Gupton Leonard, 72, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. at Centerville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Doug Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born to the late Willis and Lessie Gupton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael W. Leonard, and her brother, Dwayne Gupton. She owned and operated the Paint Store and Interiors in Louisburg for many years.

Surviving: daughter, Shelley Dickerson (Eric); son, Justin Leonard; and five grandchildren.
