YOUNGSVILLE--Madine Lamberton Johnson, 97, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Louisburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Marshfield, Vt., to the late Roy and Lila Brown Lamberton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton.

She and her husband served as forest rangers in Groton State Forest before retiring in 1980 and moving to North Carolina.

Surviving: daughter Donna (Robbie) Hood of Youngsville, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services for Madine will be private.
