AIKEN, SC -- Funeral services for the Rev. Douglas MacArthur Alston, 68, of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Rocky Mount, who died Sunday, March 18, 2018, will be held Tuesday, March 27, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Church cemetery.

Rev. Alston was born in Franklin County to the late Ben Vick and Ethel Duck Alston.

Surviving: daughters, Sherri Moss of the home, Kimberly Alston of Dunn; sons, Drexel L. Horne of Raleigh and Alexander Mercer of Wilson; stepmother, Eloise Alston of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
