FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for R. Leon Bumpers, 68, who died Sunday, April 15, 2018, will be held Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at Faith Missionary Church in Louisburg, with Pastor K. G. Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Faith Missionary cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Annie Mae Bumpers of the home; sons, Jesse Darnell Cannady (Terra) of Franklinton, Richard Earl Bumpers (Sarah) of the home; sister, Diane Collins (Richard) of Louisburg; brothers, Wayne Bumpers (Rita) of Youngsville, Willie Bumpers, Ronnie Cooke (Michelle), Sam Cooke (Fannie) and Adell Cooke (Billette), all of Franklinton, Johnny Cooke (Delores) of Oxford; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Open visitation will be Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
