LOUISBURG - Ruby Lee Edwards Brewer, 82, of Louisburg, died Thursday evening.

Ruby was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Zelma Rebecca Perkerson Edwards. She was preceded in death by her brother, Owen R. Edwards.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at White Level Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Ruby is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Harold D. Brewer; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy J. and Dawn Brewer, David E. and Tanya Brewer, all of Louisburg; grandchildren, B.J. (Amanda) Brewer, Brian (Nicole) Brewer, Meagan (Elliott) Coker, Erika Brewer; great-grandchildren, Landon Brewer and Savannah Brewer.
