LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Linda Chavis, 68, who died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, will be held Tuesday, May 8, at 2 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Castalia, with Pastor Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Brenda Perry (Ricky); sisters, Lula Wardrick (Oscar) and Louise Bolden, all of Louisburg, Dorothy Hinton of Gaithersburg, Md.; brothers, Joe Bolden (Barbara) of Little Rock, Ark., Donald Hawkins of Mebane, William Hawkins of Durham, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Monday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
