FRANKLINTON--Carolyn Pruett Baker, 71, a resident of Franklinton, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at WakeMed Rehab.

She was born in Dickson, Tenn., daughter of the late Ed and Goldie Alberta (Mammy) Pruett.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Harold, is one son, Brent Baker (Lisa) of Washington, NC; stepsons, Ricky Baker of Dover, Tenn., and Gary Baker of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Gladys McElhiney of Dickson, Tenn.; and one niece.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Ward L. Pruett; a sister, Ruth Pruett Evans; and by her stepson, Anthony Baker.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center, 7489 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina, 28304.
