NASHVILLE--Funeral services for Millard L. Sessoms, 80, who died Sunday, May 27, 2018, will be held Friday, June 1, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Nashville, with the Rev. O. D. Sykes officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Hill Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Erica Taylor (John) of Durham; sons, Selwyn Walker of Elizabeth, N.J., Sean Sessoms (Micara) of Franklinton; sister, Arthelia Matthews of Nashville; and two grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Thursday, May 31, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
