LOUISBURG - Wilma "Rae" Collins Burnette, 89, of the Sandy Creek Community, died Friday, June 1, 2018. A private graveside service was held at Sandy Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

She was a daughter of the late Percy Lucas and Bettie Pearl Murphy Collins, and a native of Franklin County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Earl Burnette; several sisters and brothers; and one daughter (niece).

Surviving: daughter, Pamela B. (Vincent) Harris; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be given to the Franklin County Animal Shelter or adopt a pet from there.
