LOUISBURG - Jonathan Paul Tanner, 28, of the Alert Community, died Sunday, June 17, 2018. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pernell family cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Katie Tanner; mother and stepfather, Tammy and Brooks Parrish; grandparents, John and Diane Ayscue; Ivy Ayscue (Boy); step-grandparents, Alton and Linda Parrish; great-grandmother, Marie Poole; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
