NASHVILLE--Funeral services for Willie "Sputt" Evans, 56, who died Monday, June 25, 2018, will be held Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Jessica Young of Louisburg; son, Quentin Antoine Vines Sr. of Nashville; sisters, Barbara Jean Richardson and Linda Ann Evans, both of Nashville, Alene Cooper (Donald) of Converse, Tex.; brothers, Henry Evans (Geraldine), Elijah, Charles and Jesse Evans, all of Nashville, Richard Evans of Rocky Mount; and four grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Thursday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
