LOUISBURG - James T. “J.T.” Smith, 88, died Thursday, June 21, 2007. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today (Saturday, June 23) at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Reggie Rushing officiating.

Surviving: sister, Hallie Tharrington of Louisburg and Mary Elizabeth Roberts of Charlotte; brothers, Milton Smith of Louisburg and Ernest Smith (Marie) of Louisburg.

Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
