LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Bernice "Pinky" Long Alston, 63, who died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with Bishop Carl Wardrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church cemetery.

Surviving: one son, Terrance Long (Yenica) of Zebulon; sisters, Marie Epps of the home, Ernestine Massenburg (James) of Mebane; brothers, Wilbert Long, Johnny Long (Dorothy) and Glen Long, all of Louisburg, Pernell Long (Shirley) of Paterson, N.J.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

There will be open visitation Saturday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
