FRANKLINTON­--Sue Knox Truitt, 72, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Averette officiating. Entombment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Martin County, the daughter of the late Martha Lynch Knox and James Willie Knox.

Surviving: her husband, Robert Truitt, and a daughter, Robin Truitt of Franklinton.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Franklinton Baptist Church Building Fund, 108 West Main Street, Franklinton, NC 27525.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday afternoon at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest.
