WAKE FOREST --Carsten Benjamin Basler, 66, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018. The family will receive friends Friday, Oc. 19, from 6- 7:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, 1829 NC Hwy 401, Louisburg.

He was born to Violet Ogden Basler and the late Benjamin Louis Basler.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dawn Mullen Basler; daughter, Christie Basler Thomas (Keith); sister, Mary Stewart (Rick); brothers, David Basler (Cyndi), Francis Basler and Anthony Basler; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews.
