LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Albert "Jinx" Rogers, 71, who died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with Bishop Johnny Alston officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Shirley Ragland Rogers of the home; daughters, Jeanette Ellis (Victor) of Raleigh, Monica Wilson of Wilson; stepson, Chris Ragland of Raleigh; sisters, Rosa Crews of Louisburg, Mary Crudup of Greensboro; brothers, Burnette Rogers (Christine) of Bunn, Samuel Earl Rogers (Bettie) of Kittrell, Roy Lee Rogers (Cybil) of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
