FRANKLINTON - Charles "Bennie' McArthur Benson, 76, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 at Wake Medical Center. A memorial service was held Sunday, Nov. 25, at Franklinton Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Averette officiating.

He was born to the late Edward and Eva May Simmons Benson.

He leaves behind his church family and a number of dear friends.
