RALEIGH--Funeral services for James "Skidder" Williams, 59, who died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, will be held Sunday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at Mitchner's Grove Baptist Church, Franklinton, with Pastor Melvin Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Elaine Williams of the home; daughter, Jennifer Roach (Andre) of Cartersville, Ga.; sons, Roderick Williams (Sherry) of Fayetteville, Jamarick Williams (Lakendra) of Statesville; his mother, Clellie Williams of Raleigh; sister, Lakeisha Tucker of Louisburg; brothers, Lonnie White (Dot) and Leon Williams, both of Philadelphia, Pa., John Williams of Charlotte, Wilbert Williams of Louisburg, Tony Williams of Youngsville; and three grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
