UNION, N. J.--Morris Glenn Merritt Jr., formerly of Louisburg, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at his home in Union, N.J., after an extended illness. A memorial service was held in Union, N. J., on Dec. 14.

Surviving: his wife, Flornida Santillan Merritt of the home; daughters, Alyssa, of the home, Tammy Walker and Glennette D. Ayscue; one son, Ronnie Merritt, of Youngsville; brother, Doughas R. Merritt of North Wilkesboro; sisters, Mildred M, Kimball of Henderson, Frances M. Willard and Nancy M. Neal, both of Louisburg, and Brenda M. King of Kittrell.
