LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Earvin "Papa" McLeod, 79, who died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 12 noon at Old Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg with Pastor Michael A. Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, the Rev. Barbara W. McLeod of the home; daughters, Romal "Pebbles" McLeod of the home, Erina M. Doyle (Charles) of Louisburg, Tameka M. Cooke of Franklinton; son, Theodore McCleod of the home; sister, Rachel M. Johnson (Howard) of Raleigh; brothers, James McLeod (Dorothy) and Edward McLeod, both of Winston-Salem, Selen McLeod of Red Springs, Herbert McLeod of Laurinburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
