LOUISBURG--Funeral services for George Washington Hayes, 89, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Hayes family cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Diane Davis of Washington, DC; sister, Ossie Wilkins of Louisburg; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Open visitation will be Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
