LOUISBURG -- Mary Grey Perry Goswick, 97, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. at Perry's Chapel Baptist Church, 894 Perry's Chapel Rd., Franklinton, with the Rev. James Quinn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery and the family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

She was born to the late Mallie and Annie Clifton Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas "Tommy" Goswick, and her son, Charles Goswick; brothers, Clifton, Vernon, and Linwood Perry; sisters, Grace P. Abbott and Margaret P. Robbins. Mary worked with her husband on their poultry and grain farm for many years.

Surviving: her daughter-in-law, Cathy Ayscue Goswick; sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or consider contributions to Perry's Chapel Baptist Church or a charity of one's choice.
