ZEBULON - Michael "Mike" Wayne Griffin, 65, died Monday evening, Feb. 4, 2019 at his home. A private family memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.

He was a retired plumber and a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Kelton Griffin, and a brother, Jackie Griffin.

Surviving: his wife, Brenda Liles Griffin; mother, Rudine H. Griffin; daughters, Alicia G. Simmons and Amy G. Grady; sisters, Rhonda Griffin and Tammy Hales; brothers, Ronald, Danny Ray and Elvis Griffin; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
