LOUISBURG--Maria Benigna Garcia Mireles, 70, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2019. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Corinth Baptist Church, with Pastor Jon Owens officiating.

She was born in San Benito, Tex., to the late Maria Luisa and Jose Pilar Garcia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister; one brother; two grandsons.

Surviving: daughter, Carmen Colquitt (Ricky) of Texas, Sandra Diaz (Feliz) of North Carolina, Silvia Delgado (Ismael) of Texas, Stella Barsom (Mourad) of North Carolina, Maria Mireles of B.C., Texas, Augustine Calderon (Sarah) of Texas; 27 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren.
