FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for Oscar "Gandy" Brooks, 70, who died Wednesday, March 6, 2019, will be held on Wednesday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at Manassah Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton, with Pastor Samuel Tunstall officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Jacqueline Brooks of the home; sons, Eric and Derrick Brooks, both of the home; sisters, Florence Harris and Laura Brooks of Newark, N.J.; brother, Leroy Brooks of Schenectady, N.Y.; and one granddaughter.

Open visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
