LOUISBURG--Magdalene Shearon Harris, 87, died Monday morning, April 8, 2019, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Lannie Wilkes Shearon and Joseph Paul Shearon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harris.

Surviving: her children, Carolyn Pettigrew (Randall) of Louisburg, Kathy Matous of Goldsboro and Robert Harris Jr. of Louisburg; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may visit with the family Friday one hour prior to the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest.
