FRANKLINTON--Michael J. Simpson of Franklinton died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson. Family and friends held a celebration of life on Sunday, April 14.

He was born on February 21, 1977 to Sharon Kaltenegger and the late Ricky Don Simpson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Patricia Simpson.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his sisters, Kristin, Sandy, Samantha and Jennifer; his three children, Tyler, Mason and Michaela; his significant other, Sarah; and countless friends. He will be missed.
