HENRICO, VA--Funeral services for Clara Smith Allen, 72, of Henrico, Va., formerly of Youngsville, who died Saturday, April 20, 2019, will be held Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at Old Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Pastor Michael Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, John Robert Allen Sr. of the home; daughter, Deon Allen-Idowu (Ayodele) of Lanham, MD; sons, John R. Allen Jr. (Mary) of Seattle, WA, Eric L. Allen (Betty) of Portsmouth, VA; sisters, Verta Mae Gales (Nathaniel) of Cambria Heights, NY, Erdine Kearney of Laurelton, NY, Dorothy J. Smith of Louisburg, Doris Ann Wright of Raleigh; brothers, Arthur Smith (Joyce) of Louisburg, Henry Wallace Smith (Mary) of Cambria Heights, NY, William Wright (Margie) of Waterbury, CT; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
