She was a daughter of the late Henry and Susie Frazier Cyrus.

Surviving: her son, Robert M. (Robin) Ballance; sisters, Judy (Bobby) Choplin, Faye Cyrus; brother E.C. (Lois) Cyrus; and one grandson, all of Louisburg
