SPRINGFIELD GARDENS, NY -- Funeral services for Alma Silver Person, 86, of Springfield Gardens, NY, formerly of Franklin County, who died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, will be held Thursday, May 16, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Gloria Lloyd of Jamaica, NY, Phyllis Atkins and Evelyn Person, both of St. Albans, NY; sons, Claude and Melvin Person, both of Jamaica, NY; sisters, Ruby Alston (Sidney) of Whitakers, Nancy Pulley (Russell) of Nashville, Lusella Hargrove (Otis) of Elm City; brother, Andrew Silver (Betty) of Warrenton, six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 12 until 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister.
