LOUISBURG - John Branch Hall Jr., 83, died Sunday morning, May 19, 2019. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg. The family will receive friends after the service.

John was a son of the late Johnny and Edna Lancaster Hall. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Hall. He served in the Army and then went on to work for IBM as a field engineer and retired in 1987.

Surviving: wife, Patricia W. Hall; sons, Stephen (Helen) Hall of Chesapeake, VA; Phillip (Jill) Hall of Raleigh; sisters Mary Sue (P.H.) Smith of Edenton, Gale Maske of Wake Forest and Dale Faulkner of Louisburg; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louisburg United Methodist Church, Good Samaritan Fund, P.O. Box 667, Louisburg, NC 27549.
