MT. GILEAD­, NC--Angela Bernice Price Carter, 58, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully, Tuesday August 27, 2019, at her home. She was a long time resident of Louisburg, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Gilead. Rev. Luther Kimrey will officiate. Interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Carter was born in Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada to Milford Perry and Joyce Bernice Price of Mt. Gilead. A native of North Carolina, Angie graduated from Craven Community College with an Associate in Science degree and inducted into the honor society Phi Theta Kappa. Later she continued her education and graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. Her working career consisted of a variety of skilled positions, such as bookkeeper, graphic artist, and typesetter, as well as NC Real Estate license holder. She opened an Etsy shop showcasing her graphic arts abilities in developing a line of custom designed tote bags. Also she was skilled in accounting programs and provided start-up businesses with bookkeeping services. She enjoyed helping and making new friends where ever she went. She attended Shannon Road Highest Praise Church of God in Louisburg, NC.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy K. Carter., formerly of New Bern.

In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her children: Cristina Couch and husband Scott of Lake City, FL; Amber Cofer Lloyd of Louisburg; Daniel Cofer and wife, Heather of Franklinton; and Austin Cofer of Louisburg; twelve grandchildren: Brittany Youngblood, Jared Youngblood, Haley Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Jacob Couch, Jordan Lloyd, Hannah Carter, Logan Horton, Elizabeth Horton, Katie Horton, Austin Cofer, and Alice Cofer; brother: Dr. Timothy Raymond Price and wife Karen of Navarre, FL and nephew: Ryan Price and niece: Tori Price.
