LOUISBURG--Junious Neal Edwards, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at Duke Medical Center.

Junie was born on April 26, 1939 to the late Jamie and Alice Paterson Edwards. He was known by many as the "Tin Man."

The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 31, from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg. Graveside funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Bunn Memorial Gardens, E. Jewett Avenue, Bunn, with the Rev. Mark Tondee officiating.

Surviving: his wife, Mary Bell Godwin Edwards; his son, Tim Edwards; his daughter, Judy Edwards; sisters, Mary Jean Ayscue and Louise Edwards; and his brother, Wayne "Mann" Edwards.
