FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for Rannie "Ma Rannie" Alston Cooke, 89, who died Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at 12 p.m. at Mt. Hebron United Holiness Church in Louisburg.

Surviving: daughters, Bessie Rogers of Bunn, Vermadean Manning (Eugene "Butch") of Nashville, Queen Carter (MacArthur) of Youngsville, Karen Regina Cooke of Raleigh, sons; Sylvester Cooke (Dorothy) and Percy Cooke, both of Louisburg, Kavester Cooke of Castalia, Melvin Cooke (Carolyn) of the home, Larry Cooke of Bunn; sister, Nora Ruffin of Youngsville; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
