KITTRELL--Carolyn Lowery Allen, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 at her home. Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg with Reverend Bruce Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

She was born to the late Ruben Alford and Bessie Rogers Lowery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jones Wayne Hart Jr.

Surviving: her husband, Donald Wayne Allen; daughter, Karen Cooke (Joseph); two grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Henry Lowery (Billie); sisters, Claire Alford, Louise Choplin (Louis) and Alice Ray (Jimmy).
