WILSON--William Frank Mitchell, Jr., 80, of Wilson passed away Monday. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, November 21st at 4 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday at 3 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Lisa M. Broitman and husband, Henry of Kensington, Maryland; granddaughters, Georgia Broitman and Lindsey Broitman; sister, Mary M. Murphy of Louisburg; and brothers, Edwin Mitchell and wife, Joyce of Raleigh and Sidney Mitchell and wife, Rachel of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Frank Mitchell, Sr., and mother, Mamie Glover Mitchell of Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, Iowa 50037.
